The Garden School was inspiring for us and we shared the inspiration with neighbors and friends. It was infectious. Everyone around us started to garden. We were always outside planning, planting, weeding and finally harvesting. We incorporated so many useful gardening techniques, like good amendments for the soil, good plant diversity practices for gardening, timing for planting, planning the garden. Both Natalie and Chloe are really good teachers. The class videos are clear and they’re simple but not superficial. In addition to the quality of the videos, the instructors have been really responsive. If I’ve had a question, I’ve gotten an answer pretty quickly and not just a stock answer. I think that’s the piece that I wasn’t expecting that I’ve really appreciated.”

This is the best class ever and the ability to go back and rewatch, review, etc. is just wonderful. Back in the 70’s when Mother Earth News was in Hendersonville and Organic Gardening Magazine was just a little bigger than a Reader’s Digest, and printed on newsprint paper, we never dreamed something so wonderful would be available in the future.

I always thought that you had to learn gardening in-person, but I was surprised by how good the online learning is with Growing Wise. The amount of material is pretty extensive and the month-to-month approach is so great. What I love the most about it is the two teaching styles of Natalie and Chloe. They give you the confidence to approach gardening yourself without being so intimidated by it. I’ve started a garden and have had pretty good success with it. With all my thanks, this class was worth every penny. It’s good for the world.
